childrens inpatient unit nursing team bradley, RNs and more

The CIU Nursing team all have gone above and beyond to care for patients and colleagues during a most stressful time. Some of these same RNs have been personally impacted by the "lice/nit crisis" and have continued to care for patients and colleagues without complaint, often without taking a break. They've arrived for their shifts day after day, knowing what likely lies ahead...head checks, lice treatments, stressed staff, upset families, along with the usual workload. Most impressive is how they have maintained positive attitudes, good senses of humor, diligence, dedication, and professionalism.
They have been empathetic, understanding and have spent countless hours combing through the hair of their patients and colleagues. They have put their own needs aside as they've made others to be the priority. These RNs have been creative, sensitive, and relentless in their quest to eliminate nits/lice.
They are a shining example of what DAISY Nurses are...intelligent, caring, empathetic, professional, giving, and dedicated.
