After meeting Chippy and telling her how I ended up here, we started to talk about foods we liked, and low and behold, we had the same likes for good spicy food! Somehow our conversation turned towards family and then compassion and understanding of others around us and the love we should have towards them. Having Chippy look over me and attending to me was akin to having a daughter caring for a father. Hospitals need more personnel like her to attend to patients. My heart is in a happy mood as I write this. Hopefully, my story will encourage more nurses to follow her example. Chippy, I know your father is proud of you. I am and I wish you were my daughter!
