We brought my sister to the ER at Allina Hospital, St. Paul, and she was admitted to the hospital with a head injury and several serious health conditions. Chloe has served as her nurse on multiple days. Without fail, Chloe has demonstrated her nursing expertise, understanding of my sister’s complicated health issues, and, most importantly, compassion.

In addition to all the times Chloe needs to check my sister’s vitals, change IV fluids, administer medication, and help with position adjustments, she also stops by to make sure my sister is comfortable, helps her with grooming, and encourages/helps her eat. She also shows kindness and support to visitors, including me, daily, recognizing the stress we are under. She consistently takes time to explain what she is doing and why she is doing it. She calmly and patiently answers our questions.

I’m impressed with her respect for my sister. For example, after a particularly difficult night for my sister and nursing staff, Chloe provided clear information on what occurred the night before while showing great respect for my sister’s privacy. My opinion of nurses has always been high for the care they give in stressful situations, day in and day out, but Chloe clearly has excelled. She’s an excellent representative of fine nursing care at United Hospital in St. Paul.”
