"We would like to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional and compassionate care we received. My aunt was seen in the ER on a Thursday and admitted to the ICU. The minute we were in the hospital, we experienced the best medical care from the entire team. This includes the doctors, nurses, receptionists in the lobby, security guards, EVS workers, and kind, friendly, helpful, and welcoming parking attendants at the Summit Hospital garage, whom we interacted with multiple times each day.

 I want to specially recognize and praise the exceptional care we received from Nurse Choi Lee, who, I believe, was not assigned to us, but stepped in so kindly on Friday.  She was a fantastic team player with her colleagues. I observed her as she willingly jumped in to help with ease, offering such a positive attitude that made everyone comfortable. She was thorough and comprehensive, explaining my aunt's latest health status on a very significant day, where the focus shifted entirely to comfort care. When I asked her questions on how to support my aunt the best at this stage, she gave us clear guidance with compassion, sincerity, and grace. She was the first and only person to give us a good understanding of feeding at this stage (with food and liquids), as it was not happening slowly.

Nurse Lee (Nurse Wonderful, as we appreciatively called her) also sent an important and urgent message to the doctor, letting him know we were all available to meet about next steps together as a family. She felt like a family member in the room to us, offering incredible care, compassion, comfort, and understanding for all of us. We would like to express how much we appreciated her and share what a significant impact she had on us. Everything she did and how she engaged with us made all the difference in the best way. She models outstanding, high-quality care and, most importantly, cultural understanding for our family during a very difficult time. We will always and forever have a deep gratitude and thanks for Nurse Choi Lee's exceptional care.
