Chris A Morfaw, RN

Chris is one of the most dedicated, compassionate, and competent nurses that I have had the pleasure to work with in several years. He is the “ rock” of EATO and Admissions and keeps things running smoothly there. It is obvious when he is not there because that’s when things don’t “flow right.” From assessing patients on arrival, giving report to physicians about their behaviors, de-escalating patients as needed, and making sure all the needs of patients are met on EATO, he does it effortlessly and calmly. He is always dependable and available to go beyond his call of duty, embraces changes, and is a mentor to the other nurses in EATO and even to newer physicians working in the admissions office. His teamwork is impeccable and makes working in EATO much smoother for everyone. You know things will be taken care of when he is working. I would like to nominate him for the DAISY Award for his professionalism, compassion, dedication to our patients, and teamwork.
