I brought my son to the Billerica Urgent Care location for a skin infection. My son is extremely anxious when it comes to any type of healthcare visit. Chris immediately picked up on this. Chris talked to my son in such a calm manner, reassuring him he would be fine. When the doctor had to perform a mini procedure, I watched as Chris held his hand, told him to keep breathing, it was almost over, and offered him reassurance throughout with a comforting tone. Although I work at LGH, when my children are seen here I go into mom mode...worried and nervous myself at times. Chris not only put my son at ease but me as well. Although masked, he smiled through his eyes and showed such care and compassion. Walking out I felt lighter, and it was because of the care Chris provided to my son and me.
