Chris Bouslog serves as a charge nurse, circulating nurse and scrub nurse in Ambulatory Surgery. She has been here at UIHC for 38 years and Ambulatory Surgery 11 years. Chris is an exemplary charge nurse who goes the extra mile daily to ensure the ASC OR runs smoothly and efficiently. She is well respected for her broad knowledge base of all services, her ability to troubleshoot most all circumstances, her communication skills, her positive attitude, her ability to work collaboratively with all Perioperative Division areas and surgeons, her innate ability to be there when you need her, always volunteering, quick decision-making skills and the ability to do all of this while juggling the non-stop phone calls, pages and Voalte messages in a calm and collected manner. Chris is the best ASC air traffic controller we could ask for! Chris Bouslog is our local hero!
