We met Chris during a scary uncertain time in our marriage. "D" was diagnosed with MM and was preparing to undergo SCT. We met Chris for 3 days of apheresis to prepare for his SCT. She sensed our fear and anxiety. She explained everything to us both and the rationale for each step. She was not intimidated by knowing I was a nurse. She was confident and proficient, but friendly and caring. Expert!! By the third day, "D" was relaxed and at ease with cell collection and what was happening.
