Chris Dalesandro, BSN, RN

Chris is an absolutely amazing leader and person. She has never met a stranger and will stop and go out of her way for anyone in need. She never hesitates to take a chance on any new hire. Personally, Chris has been like a mom to me since I started long ago as a new graduate in the MICU. She took me under her wing, always supported me, and encouraged me. Over time, she became my go-to resource, my venting support, and my great friend. Chris is planning to retire in August, and I don't know how St. Vincent will survive without her. I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award than Chris. She embodies what it truly means to be a DAISY Nurse Leader!
