I had an appointment with Dr. B for a blood draw. I am 81 years old and have been extremely concerned about contracting COVID. I canceled my appointment with Dr. B's office for a blood draw. I called the next day to talk with Chris about my concerns over leaving my home for this procedure. Chris understood and offered to come to my home to make the blood draw. I was so relieved that the blood draw could be taken at home that I cried.
Chris is a wonderful nurse and has always helped me whenever I have had health concerns if only by allowing me to talk about my fears. She went above her normal duties as a nurse to take time out of her day, drive out of her way to come by my home, and do the blood draw. Chris always seems to know when to hold my hand, to hand me a tissue, or occasionally hug me. I feel blessed to have her as part of my healthcare team.
