Chris Harvey, LPN

Chris Harvey showed great compassion for a family and a dying patient. Chris took the time on a busy night to make sure that they were kindly taken care of after the patient had died. He stood in the hall, not saying a word with his arm around the sister for a long period of time while they mourned the loss of their loved one. I spoke to the family member, and she just cried. She stated she has never met a more compassionate nurse, and she was so thankful that he was there for her and her dying family member. She said that love, kindness, and true empathy are rare, and she is so blessed to have had this opportunity to be in our hospital with the caring words, actions, and time spent. Thank you Chris for showing compassion and kindness toward our patients.
