Chris was Nominated by a Veteran: "Chris was one of my nurses while I was in the hospital; she was so caring and went over and beyond her job. She sat with me and explained my condition and brought me a cup of coffee. We laughed together, I felt like she was family. We (the VA) need more nurses like her, because it is not easy to be in the hospital".
