I would like to nominate a nurse. His name is Chris, and he is the first male nurse I ever had. I was alone in the hospital, and Chris took care of me. He helped me a lot since I was by myself. He tended to all my needs, and I knew that I could count on him. He made me feel secure. I think he deserves this award. He is very caring for other people, and that means a lot to a sick person who is scared and alone. He has a touch for that.

Chris personifies caring. His smile is so infectious. Even if you are not well, it’s hard not to return the smile. And his offer to help is so sincere. You are most often stressed to the max in a hospital situation. I think almost everyone would agree. It’s not where you would go to relax. A solid night’s sleep is impossible to achieve. You can be worried or in pain, but when that smile enters the room, it’s like sunshine. Bring on that infection…that Chris Holmes! Thank, you Chris!
