From the first day Chris took care of me last year, I knew he was something special. He took a lot of time to educate me about my new diagnosis of AML. He never seemed rushed and always answered my questions if able or found an MD or nurse practitioner to ask. Chris was always pleasant with me and family and friends. He would always ask if he could discuss my care when there were others in the room. He was very conscientious when hanging my chemo and touching my PICC/Trialysis cath. Chris never once left my room without making sure I had everything I needed. He always made me feel comfortable when it was his shift to work. Also, he was so kind to bring me movies from his home to watch on my DVD player so I wasn't bored. And he somehow picked 3 of my favorites: 1) Christmas Story 2) Dirty Dancing and 3) Princess Bride. I can't thank him enough. I will forever remember his compassion and knowledge.
