My family recently experienced an incredibly challenging and emotional time when our son, C, was admitted to the PICU with a severe case of pneumonia. During our stay, Chris Myers demonstrated exceptional dedication, compassion, and professionalism that left a lasting impact on our lives. Chris's care and support for C were nothing short of extraordinary.
On one of the most difficult nights of our lives, when our son was intubated, and his condition was critical, Chris never left C's side. He treated C as if he were his own child, speaking to him with words of love and encouragement and gently soothing him by stroking his hair whenever he cried. Chris's unwavering commitment to keeping us, C's parents, in constant communication during the long night allowed us to rest assured that our son was in the best possible hands. Throughout the night, Chris was a guardian angel, moving swiftly and decisively when needed and remaining calm and composed even when alarms were constantly going off around him. His meticulous attention to detail in administering medications and monitoring C's vital signs was truly impressive. I don't think I saw Chris sit down for a single moment that night.
What truly sets Chris apart is his genuine compassion and empathy. Even after our son was no longer under his direct care, he continued to check in on C's progress and well-being. His heart of gold and the tranquility he exudes brought our family an immeasurable sense of peace during this incredibly trying time.
