I would like to express to you and the head of the nurses at your hospital that I had some RNs that were some of the best caregivers I have ever met. Unfortunately I have been hospitalized several times in three different states so I have been under the care of many nurses.
Chris was my nurse my first two nights and two other evenings during my stay. I cannot stress how much I appreciate his genuine concern, help and bedside manner that was hands down above and beyond. You have an incredibly great employee in Chris.
I came to your facility from pancreatitis and withdrawal from alcohol. I had relapsed after 11 years of sobriety from alcohol, and was an absolute mess. I was in extreme pain, very depressed about my falling off the wagon and scared. Chris was extraordinarily professional, in discussing my condition and how the doctors were going to treat me and my symptoms. He also talked to me like a human being and not just another patient on his rounds. More importantly he listened to me. I was in a terrible place emotionally/mentally and I sincerely believe his actions were a critical step in my recovery. I am grateful to Chris; what an asset he is to your hospital!!
