Chris has made a huge impact on my experience as a new graduate nurse. He has been very supportive during and after my orientation as my main preceptor and taught me numerous valuable lessons that I still use in my everyday patient care.

One example is that he would ensure that I focused on tasks that required nursing judgment and assisted me with tasks that could be delegated, which helped me improve my time management. After orientation, he demonstrated that he is willing to help with any questions or tasks despite having his own full patient load, and he extends this courtesy to all our teammates.

Chris truly provides top-tier care for our patients. He goes above and beyond to advocate for patients and ensures that they are safe and comfortable. He consistently plays a vital role in assisting other nurses during rapid response events and other emergencies. His thoughtful expertise and guidance promote better patient outcomes during those events.

During a recent rapid response event with one of my patients, he instantly stepped in to help with tasks and to share valuable insight on next steps to take, which I greatly appreciated. Chris is an excellent mentor and true team player who is highly trusted to precept new nurses and teaches them with patience and empathy.
