I was in the hospital for 4 days following a surgery and Chris was my RN for 2 days. She was extremely kind, took time to teach me how to take care of my surgical incisions and managed my pain so well. She took time to listen and always answered my questions. She also helped manage the many visitors that came throughout my stay so I could rest. She was so friendly, professional, smart and kind.

I have so many times been in patient rooms to see Chris with her patients. She is so kind and attentive. She really cares for each one of them. No matter how many times they put on their "light". Chris refers to the patient as hers; she has ownership and is the patient's advocate. It does not matter who they are.

Chris went above and beyond and gave exceptional care by advocating for her patient. The patient has chronic illness with a left mastectomy. The patient had endured multiple IV sticks in her right arm and no venous access for several hours through the night. Being a small Critical Access Hospital we just recently have the ability to place PICCs and midlines. I educated Chris on the procedure just days prior to this. I applauded Chris for recognizing the patient's need, calling the doctor for the order, and calling in the nurse to place it. Chris ended up with a very happy patient. Way to go Chris!
