Chrissy Weng consistently demonstrates a kind and compassionate heart when caring for our fragile patients in the NICU. Most recently, Chrissy cared for an infant who had passed away shortly before her shift started. Even though the baby was no longer requiring medical care, she knew that the family needed her support in their grief; she spent hours with them. She bathed the infant, dressed her in beautiful clothes, bundled her in blankets and allowed the family precious time with their baby. It was a difficult day for everyone. Chrissy's compassion made a difference in that family's life and I am sure they will never forget her.
