Christel assisted in helping a mother whose child was in distress. The mother was on her way to the hospital when she noticed her child was not breathing, she then called the doctor’s office where Christel was managing the triage phone line. Christel was able to calmly help the much panicked mom through CPR steps as well as initiate the emergency response system.
Christel was able to pinpoint were the patient was located on the road and assist the ambulance into finding them quickly. In the end, Christel’s calm and quick actions lead to a positive outcome for this patient. Christel is very appreciated by her coworkers and patients and is an amazing nurse.
