Christen was my daughter's nurse during her first transplant. The second time around we did not have her as a nurse yet, on May 14th, Christen walked through our door as my daughter was in renal failure and had a mental status change. That day through all the chaos, tests, Vas cath procedure, and starting dialysis all while my daughter was not responding to commands, Christen stayed positive and kept me grounded. She not only showed what an amazing nurse she is, but that day she was a "Super Hero"!
