Christene caught a potential medication error, she recognized that a patient with a verified egg allergy and hx of ED visit for anaphylaxis was ordered a Yellow Fever vaccine by his PCP.  Egg allergy is contraindicated for the Yellow Fever vaccine.  She was concerned and reached out for advice and we directed the patient to see an allergist prior to getting vaccinated.
