Christi Drury was my first nurse when I moved from Labor & Delivery to Mother Baby after delivery. She was very attentive and informative. When I started showing signs of complications, she was very pro-active and quick acting to intervene and get me moved back to labor and delivery. She kept my husband and family informed, worked effectively with co-workers to communicate her concern, and assured she would care for my newborn while I was back in L&D.
Once I was back in L&D, Christi came multiple times to check on me and update on our baby's status. She prayed with me and helped calm me as I was scared and experiencing complications. Once things settled down, and several times during our six-day stay, she came and checked on us several times. I am so grateful to Christi for her kind and calming care, in-depth assessment, intervention, and effective communication. If she wouldn't have been so attentive, my outcome and situation could have ended differently. I will always remember the excellent care that Christi provided surrounding our daughter's birth.
