Christi is one of those nurses that you don't have to worry about—strong! As a charge nurse, you know that her module will be well cared for with very few call lights ringing—because her patient's need are being met, usually before they even need to ask.
She has a professional attitude, but very gentle and kind with her patients and co-workers. She can always be counted on to lend a hand. When I go to her with any issues regarding her patients, she is already two steps ahead of me—usually already having things resolved.
But, the area she stands out most from the best nurses is that she makes herself available always. Through a long period of being down staff members, Christi has consistently saved the day, picking up open shifts, answering her phone at any hour, and coming to the unit's rescue!
