Christi was so comforting. She was easy to relate to. She also paid attention to our needs and was right there to bring a smile to our faces in our weakest moments. The family appreciated the advice she constantly gave to us, that she would think about how we would feel, if it was one of us in my brother's situation. We needed to constantly hear that because we did not want to let him go.
One of the things that made Christi so memorable was her personality. She was always in a good mood and never showed any frustration. We are still talking about her to this day! On the day we were to decide to take the respirator off, the room was complemented with a cart full of all kinds of fruits, drinks, snacks and things to help everything go smoother. We are here to witness that the hospital took very good care of my brother, even though we knew he was already gone. We felt good to see and know that as long as a patient's heart is still pumping Manatee Memorial Hospital will treat them like they are somebody. Thank You Christi!
