I would like to recognize the exceptional dedication and compassion displayed by Christian Burgos-Baltazar in decorating a patient's room with birthday decorations, despite the patient being in a very compromised state in which he was unable to communicate and had poor health prognosis. Unfortunately, this patient was involved in a motor vehicle collision that left him in this state and he had no family to care for him. His situation is so very complicated, that even a humanitarian visa could not be provided for his loved ones to say their final goodbyes. And although the patient was unable to be aware of this act of kindness by Christian, his empathy and commitment to providing comfort and dignity to this patient, is truly commendable. His actions serve as a prime inspiration to us all, reminding us of the profound impact of kindness and compassion for human life. Thank you Christian for showing true compassion and decorating your patient's room and celebrating his birthday. That is true commitment and love.
