Christian provided more than physical care, he provided excellent emotional care, as well. He made the human connection with me and would ask me questions to get to know me as more than just a room number. He gave me advice for my future career as a nurse, as I’m in school, and told me I would be a good nurse which made me happy.

Towards nighttime I was feeling sicker and very down emotionally for being in the hospital, and as Christian sensed this, he told me stories and got me talking and made me laugh. I was feeling very lonely and he made me feel more connected. He was mindful, went out of his way to plan my care knowing my needs, and he even came in for my medication early knowing that my IV was bothering me and I may want to switch it. He made me feel very comfortable to ask for anything I needed, and really brightened my hospital stay. He stood out as a nurse who deeply cares for his patients, and has a wonderful way of connecting with them. Thank you Christian!
