When I asked my son why Christian was so special, he said many things. The first was that he always exuded calm. He never showed worry. He was level-headed and clear minded.
Christian works with his patients to be the person needed for the patient. For my son, Christian's humor was great- they played off of each other, but Christian was also professional. He took time to explain the purposes of the tests and medicines. He asked the patient questions about his life and how he felt after particular medicines. He consistently went the extra mile, like when he got my son ice cream one time. He showed care and concern for my son's young wife. He shared test information with me and my husband so we knew what was going on.
Christian is a wonderful nurse and is a great example of what a nurse should be. Thank you!
