I am writing this for my husband as his handwriting is still shaky and difficult to read. He was a patient at MercyOne for approximately one week after being sick for over a month at home. He was sent by ambulance from another facility. He has never been hospitalized prior. Christian was caring, patient, and helpful. He was informative, knowledgeable, and had a great personality. My husband most appreciates that Christian accompanied us outside to a patient area where we could enjoy the beautiful weather for a few hours. When we got confused about the direction, he just showed us the way instead. The weather was beautiful that weekend and our family greatly appreciated the pictures I took of my husband sitting on your outdoor patio, IV pole, drain, and all. It was definitely a highlight in our day. Almost made him think he wasn't in the hospital at all and after being sick for so long, made him feel human again. From the perspective of someone not familiar with the medical world, it's the little things that make a difference. For a few hours, my husband didn't feel sick.
