My son, "B," was in the ICU for 6 days before moving to Hospice, where he recently passed away at age 36. His last 3 days, Christian was his Nurse. He was so compassionate towards my feelings as a mother and made sure "B's" needs were met to be as comfortable as possible. He explained any questions I needed answering and procedures that were being done and why. He was fantastic at taking the time to interpret the doctors that I didn't always understand. Near the end, "B's" liver had failed, kidneys shutting down, and lungs needed oxygen. We had to make the decision whether to move him to Hospice or keep him alive by machines. We chose Hospice; Christian helped me know that I was making the right decision without feeling guilty. I received many comforting hugs when needed. He was Amazing!!!
