Christian is blessed with excellent people skills, and is very congenial. All the E400 Staff loves working with him. He is always willing to help others and never neglects his duties and responsibilities. Patients all comment on his care and compassion and ability to follow through and get results.
On one occasion, there was a patient who called the Charge Nurse and reported she did not want him as a nurse because he was short with her request for a gown. At the time, he was involved in a crisis situation. He apologized, the patient was not receptive. The patient was reassigned to another nurse. Christian continued with his tasks and duties. The patient observed his caring and compassion with others. By shifts end, he had returned to her good graces. At one point during the shift, I looked up and saw him ambulating the patient hand in hand, the patient smiling, laughing, conversing and in good spirits.
He made a difference because of his commitment to providing excellent customer service!
