Akron Children’s Hospital's first DAISY nurse, Christin Eland, gave great care to a family that wanted to recognize her efforts that went above and beyond the call of duty. In fact the patient and mother came to the DAISY Award ceremony on the unit to surprise and support Christin with her award!
