Christina worked with me on a case from the ER. He was here in the ER at South Meadows for over 8 days. He was originally diverted in a previous admission from VAMC to South for psych, then placed quickly in a group home. He was then sent back for combativeness. He therefore sat in our ER for 8 days, adjusting meds and trying to find a solution to where he could go with only part A Medicare, VAMC, and none of the Senior Psych programs wanting him, none of the Hospices wanting him. Christina did not give up. She kept working on the Rubik's Cube til she solved all the sides that were best for the patient and the family. Well done.
