Christina had a patient who was not going to be able to go home without a very important medication (Brilinta). Upon finding out that this patient would not be able to be discharged safely home without this blood thinner, Christina took it upon herself to use her lunch break to go to Walmart and fill the patient's medication prescription. It is nice to see nurses who care deeply for their patients and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure they provide excellent and quality care to their patients. Christina touched my heart with this act of kindness and love. We need more nurses like Christina!
