Christie entered my room with a smile, warm personality, and "can-do attitude." I knew I had selected the right hospital. She listened attentively to my needs and assessment with efficiency and competency while explaining everything she was doing. Christie went the extra mile to enable my wife to stay the night by my side. She kept us informed and delivered disappointing news of a 7 pm surgery time with kindness and optimism. Christie's verbal and non-verbal communication spoke: "I'm here to ensure you have everything you need to heal and recover." She didn't act like this was a job, but rather a calling!
