Christina "Frankie" Vanblankenstein, RN

My grandfather was brought into Methodist North ER with an ischemic stroke. Frankie was his primary nurse and we will never forget the excellent care she provided him as well as her compassion and kindness towards him and our family. She and her team were quick to answer any questions we had and arranged his quick transport to University Hospital. She took the time to ensure his wife of 55 years got to kiss his cheek before being transported via helicopter and held her hand as she watched her husband be rolled away. Frankie and her team are special people. A DAISY nomination is the least we can do for someone who showed such empathy during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Thank you
