From the moment she started caring for my dad, she made him feel special. My dad loved to talk, and she would listen, asking him questions about his life. I was his daughter/caregiver, and I always had lots of questions; she was always prepared to answer them. My dad looked forward to her visits. She always went above and beyond and felt more like family to us than a nurse. My dad passed away due to pneumonia, and she visited him in the hospital and even attended his funeral. I am thankful for such an extraordinary nurse. She is deserving of the DAISY Award.
