By no means was my wife's pregnancy the most complicated, however; a fibroid, signs of pre-eclampsia and a failed induction were all reasons we, as new parents, were a little nervous. The wonderful and holistic care we received from Christina absolutely put us at ease. She not only thoroughly cared for my wife but made our new daughter and myself completely cared for as well. Without me asking, she would see to it the I had all the information and comfort I needed so I would sleep well and be the best dad and husband I could be. She made sure that we had all the possible resources we needed and prepared to go home. Nurses are a special breed and Christina represents her field with excellence. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for serving with compassion around the world every day.

With the idea of how my labor was going to go, versus how it went, it was very relieving to have a nurse like Christina taking care of me. She made me aware of everything that was happening, which help ease my anxiety of having an unplanned C-section. I do not think she was aware of how well she did that. It was so assuring to have her in the room when my baby was born and afterward to control my nausea. Furthermore, when my baby had to go to the special nursery, Christina took me to see him before going to my room. It is all the little things she did to make me feel I was being taken care of. When I decide to have another baby, I hope that she will be there as my nurse.
