Christina is the most caring and effective nurse. My 91-year-old partner was moved into the ICU from the ER after a fall. He was very combative and uncooperative. His assigned nurse became concerned about his agitated state. Mr. V reacted poorly to a medication given to him. His blood pressure plummeted, and Christina triaged and stabilized him. Because she had such a calming manner with the patient, she had, in my opinion, saved his life. I asked that she be his night nurse. I watched her triage him a second time, again for the same reason. I call her an angel, as I do believe she is the reason he made it to a successful gamma nail surgery to repair his femur. When I saw her the evening after surgery, she was as happy as I am about his progress.
