Christina Lahey, BSN, RN, CCRN, CPAN

Christina has been an amazing mentor to me and many others. On a daily basis Christina arrives early and always stays late. Her main concern is the well-being of every patient that comes through our units.

Many times, you will find her at a patient's bedside addressing their needs. She believes strongly in work and family balance. Her common saying is, "We will make this work for you," when an employee finds themselves in need of help. Christina has been extremely patient in teaching me how to be an effective leader. She is currently in college and raising three young men. Christina has promoted new tools to promote patient safety and to make our units safe. Many times, Christina will work at any job. She will call patients at night and on the weekends to make sure they have the information needed to have a great surgical experience. I am grateful every day that she is my biggest supporter at work, and I know my coworkers feel the same. Her level of support for us is felt in every reply to questions we ask. She will always work to make things better and smile while doing it. Christina promotes the Hackensack Meridian belief system and gives 110% every day.
