Christina is an amazing nurse! She is extremely dependable and represents the nursing in the most professional manner. She is polite, loving, and compassionate to staff, visitors, patients, and families. Christina has advanced skills in labor and delivery, IV starts, and fetal heart monitoring, and handles problems diplomatically. She does not engage in hurtful conversations and sets clear boundaries with unnecessary influences who tarnish nursing. She does an amazing job of remaining civil and supportive to all, even at the end of a long shift!

One of her best attributes is her willingness to mentor and train new nurses to labor and delivery, which is exhausting due to the nature of the environment. She stays cool, calm, and reassuring to new hires and remains on task. She makes the new hire feel valued and makes herself available tirelessly when answering questions. As a result, we have happy, well-trained nurses on our unit who feel part of the team. Christina is very welcoming and provides a valuable service to nursing. She is a person who shares her many talents with charisma, patience, and integrity and is most deserving of the DAISY Award.
