Christina Martinez is an amazing nurse who goes above and beyond with her care for her patients. During my stay, I was overwhelmed with a severe coughing attack. I was scared. Christina was right there by my side, talking calmly to assist me. But the coughing didn't stop. I was beginning to feel very anxious, and then I started coughing up blood. Christina immediately called for assistance but did not leave my side. She knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Her confidence and explanation made me feel that I was well taken care of. I don’t think I could have made it through without her. I wanted to die. But with her persistent reassurance, she was able to guide me through. She demonstrates her compassion in her interactions with patients. It’s the touch of her hand and the empathy in her voice that shows her love for caring for others. She was truly excellent in this situation, and I am glad she was there for me when I needed it.
