Christina Minor, RN
With an emergency surgery comes a lot of uncertainty, especially when it has been 47 years since your last hospital stay (and that was childbirth)! Following my hip fracture, I had excellent care from each of the daily hero’s that care for patients. Christina stands out because of the extra care she took to stand up for me as a patient and to challenge my surgeon for consult and discharge. I am excited to know that TJ Samson has created an atmosphere where patient advocacy is encouraged. While I believe that Christina would do the right thing without any extra credit, like all of our interactions with staff, I hope you will reward her because this time someone returned her goodwill with a short note to say, “you are a true nursing leader and your courage and leadership was seen, was appreciated and we thank God for your calling in nursing”.

Christina was so good. She was very friendly, and I could tell she cared for her patients, and she went above and beyond her job. I could also tell that she knew her job and always was there if my husband needed anything.
