Her skills were not only in responding naturally to his many needs, questions, changes, and fears - she was easy to understand.
We are thrilled to celebrate Christina Minor, RN, as our most recent DAISY Award Honoree. Christina began her T.J. journey in 2008. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care have profoundly impacted the lives of many. We are incredibly proud of her achievements and grateful to have her as part of our T.J. family. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!
"My husband's knee replacement was not only his first real surgery, but it marked many changes in his demeanor. My Superman was all out of kryptonite. Christina kept his head up; she kept him motivated. She made him smile through the pain; she knew her job and performed it well. Her skills were not only in responding naturally to his many needs, questions, changes, and fears - she was easy to understand. She kept me from a panic or two. She was easy to trust with my most important person - when I was called away after our fur baby got out and was on the highway, 20 minutes away, after he had already been walked. And then again, I had to leave my husband's side for business matters that couldn't be avoided. She even went the extra mile when I got the call that my mom's congestive heart failure was causing severe issues again. I have rarely met anyone who could handle their job so well, and to handle my husband when his pride was wounded is most praiseworthy."
