Christina was B's nurse for 3 days. She got to know B well- almost read his lips, etc. She went into his room after I left and B told her the next day was our 46th anniversary and the first time in years that he could not buy a gift for me. When I walked in the next day, the bulletin board had a message of "Happy 46th Anniversary" with roses and hearts drawn all over it! Beautiful! Gifts of chocolates and candles and a beautiful card signed by B, more importantly, my husband sat there with a big smile. She made our day. Everyone who came in commented! Christina would not let me pay her for the gifts. B tried to pay her too and she said 'No Way'!
Beyond the wonderful gesture for our anniversary that brightened my husband and my day, Christina is a wonderful and caring nurse. She explains what she is doing and how it will help my husband. She responds right away to patients' call lights for help. Christina is the best!
