Christina Prevatt 2, RN

After being transferred to St. Vincent's Hospital and needing open heart surgery, Christina was one of the first faces I saw. She greeted me with a smile and tried to calm all my fears. She explained my plan of care and was right at my bedside when I called. When my family had questions and was anxious, Christina took time to talk to them and explain everything.

Oddly enough, I had my heart surgery in the middle of a tropical storm and with a doctor who was new to the hospital. That being said, Christina sought out the information about the surgeon for me and my family. She made us feel so comfortable in the midst of a literal storm and one of my life's biggest strains. I, as well as my family, will forever remember Christina and be grateful for the compassion and care she provided.
