My daughter had COVID and was admitted to DUH. During this time she had excellent care from the entire Duke Team but Christina stuck out to me as she went above and beyond. I was able to observe her during several visits as she was on her feet adjusting machines, watching attentively her vitals, and making sure that my daughter had the best care possible during this trying time. One day I walked in after my daughter had finally made a turn to recovery and Christina had board games out and had my daughter using her hands and voice as she was trached and lost some of her skills due to her period of intubation. Christina and the entire PICU team will forever be stamped in our hearts and minds as exceptional. They made our lives so much easier by all that they have done for our daughter. Thank You!
