Christina Wenzel, RN

Christina was caring for a patient recovering from a cerebrovascular accident. The patient was supposed to be her daughter’s labor coach, but since the patient was still in the hospital, she was unable to be there for her daughter. Christina took the patient down to the labor room as the daughter was in active labor. After the baby was born, Christina stayed over and took the patient back down so she could meet and hold her grandson. Christina is always going above and beyond for her patients. If Christina was unwilling or unable, the patient had stated she would’ve left. So, her kindness stopped this patient from making an unsafe choice for herself, and being there for her daughter
