Christina Winstead goes above and beyond for patient advocacy, satisfaction, safety, and wellbeing. She is an amazing team player. She goes out of her way to help others in her department, even when it involves her taking out of her personal time to help others. She has amazing communication skills and understanding when providing family and patient support. Christina sets an example for how all Duke nurses should be. She follows policies and lives the Duke values. She is truly a Duke Star.
Christina inspires me every day to become a better nurse. I hope to one day be as skilled, compassionate and amazing a nurse as she is! She is truly a gift to our entire department.
