Chris was so attentive and caring for not only my dad who was a patient but also for my mom, who was here visiting. Chris took the time to explain everything in ways that my dad could understand, and then again to mom when she would be in to visit, and then again to myself! It was always with compassion. She would worry about mom coming in after working and being tired and worn down. Chris could see that my dad would get concerned about mom driving home in the dark and she would gently nudge her to leave so she could get her rest, and in turn, not make dad worry. She cares about everyone. Not only did she care for my dad, she was just as kind and compassionate with the other patient in the room, and his family too.
We truly connected with Chris. When she had her day off, she was missed. Both mom and dad were happy to see her back at work. Even though he was a patient for close to 2 weeks, the stay didn't seem so bad. He had great care and even joked that he wanted to stay an extra day because the food was so good too! Thank you, Chris, for treating mom and dad like they were your own elderly parents and for showing them the same love and compassion that we've had for them.
